Within Asset Partners, Jos is responsible for transaction management, deal execution and relationship management for Dutch banks, foreign banks and local alternative providers.
Jos has worked in the real estate and shipping industry since 2004. Prior to joining Asset Partners in 2019, Jos worked for eight years as a managing director at an investment company specializing in real estate and shipping. In this role, he was ultimately responsible for a portfolio (real estate, shipping and private equity) with an investment volume of €1.5 billion. He was reviewed and approved by AFM and De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) for suitability and reliability.
Prior to that, he worked for seven years in the real estate sector as a fund manager, (corporate) broker and as a real estate manager for a developing investor.Jos has extensive experience in the field of (re)structuring and (re)financing investment funds in real assets as well as in selling, acquiring and managing them. In addition, Jos has managed the workout of portfolios with investment volumes up to €200 million for a number of major banks.
Jos studied Management, Economics and Law at the Hanzehogeschool in Groningen (the Netherlands) with accreditation from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He also completed various in-depth courses at Krauthammer and Nijenrode Business University.

Within Asset Partners, Gijs is responsible for guiding transaction preparation phase, financial analysis and due dilligence, and relationship management for international fund managers, pension funds and insurers.
Gijs has been working as a corporate finance specialist in the financial sector since 2014. Before starting Asset Partners in 2019, Gijs worked as a director at an investment company specializing in real estate and shipping investement funds. Before that, he worked within the corporate finance team of an international money and capital market intermediary.
Gijs was responsible for guiding many real asset financing transactions with a total volume of more than €1,5 billion, thus building up considerable expertise in the financial and investment landscape. He has both buy and sell experience, which has led to a clear understanding of how to improve the corporate finance sector for real asset investments. Gijs has also structured both open and closed-end investment funds.
Gijs studied Technical Planning at the University of Groningen (the Netherlands) and has been active as an (international) competitive rower.
