Jos Westra
Jos leads transaction management and oversees the execution of financing processes. He combines experience as an investor and executive with broad knowledge of financing processes and maintains relationships with both Dutch and international banks.
Jos has been active in the real estate and financial sectors since 2004. He has held positions as a fund manager, real estate manager, and real estate broker, and later served as managing director of an investment firm specializing in real estate, ships, and private equity. In that role, he had ultimate responsibility for a portfolio with an investment volume of over €1.5 billion and was assessed by the AFM and DNB for his expertise and reliability.
This background taught him to approach financing matters not only from the bank's perspective but also from that of the investor. He also managed the workout of substantial portfolios at major banks, giving him clear insight into risk and value trends. At Asset Partners, he draws on that experience to execute transactions and maintain relationships with a broad network of banks in the Netherlands and abroad.
Jos studied Management, Economics, and Law in an RICS-accredited program at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen and completed additional training at Krauthammer and Nyenrode.
