Gijs Elting
Gijs is responsible for structuring and preparing transactions. He has experience in corporate finance, fund structures and the capital markets. He also maintains relationships with international alternative lenders, such as debt funds insurers and pension funds.
Before joining Asset Partners, Gijs served as a director at an investment company active in real estate and shipping. Earlier in his career, he was part of the corporate finance team at an international money and capital markets intermediary.
He has broad experience in acquisitions and dispositions and has been involved in structuring a range of open-end and closed-end investment funds. His background gives him insight into the dynamics among investors, lenders and financing structures. His capital markets experience also enables him to turn complex transactions into robust, practical solutions.
Gijs studied Technical Planning at the University of Groningen and also competed internationally as a rower.
