Redevelopment Financing for a Hotel in Den Bosch
On behalf of MWPO, Asset Partners managed the process for financing the redevelopment plans and the overall refinancing of Hotel Terminus in Den Bosch.
Background
For the redevelopment of Hotel Terminus in downtown Den Bosch, MWPO sought a suitable financing solution for both the existing financing and one of the necessary redevelopment costs. Asset Partners was exclusively appointed to oversee the financing process.
The project involves the transformation of a former hotel building on Boschveldweg into a sustainable and future-proof hotel concept with 34 rooms. The redevelopment includes the demolition of the existing structures and the construction of a new hotel building of approximately 1,040 m². The final result will be a virtually energy-neutral hotel—all-electric, with solar panels on the roof—built according to the latest sustainability standards with an eye toward the future and the city.
Given the scale of the project and the existing relationship between the client and the lender, the focus was on establishing a pragmatic and efficient financing structure. Asset Partners facilitated coordination between the client and the lender and secured a financing solution that aligned with both the redevelopment phase and the planned operation of the hotel.
