Background

The portfolio to be financed consisted of six investment properties, located primarily in the northern and central parts of the Netherlands. The total usable floor area was approximately 4,250 m² gross floor area, divided among 51 leasable units.

At the time of refinancing, the owner wanted to explore the market more broadly in addition to the existing lender. Asset Partners organized a competitive process in which multiple parties were approached. This led to the client being introduced to Deutsche Bank, which was willing to finance the portfolio and offer an umbrella structure.

This structure not only refinanced the existing portfolio but also created room to easily add future acquisitions within the same financing facility. This combined flexibility with stability in long-term financing.

Outcome

  • Introduction of the client at Deutsche Bank
  • Refinancing of €11.5 million
  • Umbrella structure for expansion through new acquisitions
  • Financing structure tailored to the owner’s portfolio and strategy
  • Long-Term Stability and Flexibility
