Background

In recent years, Ampire has built up a real estate portfolio consisting (primarily) of residential properties in prime locations in downtown Nijmegen. Ampire wanted to refinance a portion of its portfolio in order to repay its existing bank loans as well as shareholder loans. Asset Partners worked with Ampire to identify the optimal structure, and it was subsequently decided to secure multiple loans for two different companies.
Asset Partners then drafted two comprehensive financing memoranda and organized a competitive bidding process involving multiple lenders. This process resulted in several attractive financing proposals.

Ultimately, a bridge loan was chosen for one of the companies and long-term investment financing for the other. Both financing arrangements were structured through DCMF. This financier stood out in terms of terms and flexibility and was able to meet both financing needs. The new financing structure is fully aligned with Ampire’s needs and ensures peace of mind and stability for the future.

Result

  • Competitive tender process offering multiple financing options
  • Splitting Financing Into Multiple Loans
  • Full repayment of existing bank financing as well as shareholder loans
  • Flexible bridge financing for one of the companies and long-term investment financing on favorable terms for the other company
