Background
At the time of refinancing, the owner wanted to renew the existing loan while also exploring the broader market. Asset Partners organized a competitive process involving multiple lenders, focused on terms suited to the portfolio and current conditions in the office market.
The transaction was ultimately arranged through Van Lanschot Kempen, thereby establishing a new banking relationship for the client. This refinancing resulted in significantly improved terms compared to those offered by the client’s primary bank. Because the possibility of future redevelopment was taken into account, a financing arrangement with a medium-term maturity and ample flexibility was chosen.
